Lakshmi Muir

Lakshmi is a dedicated and passionate Educational and Developmental Psychologist with experience in child development, early childhood attachment, and adult attachment-focused therapy. She completed her Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and has been a registered psychologist since 2017.

Lakshmi has worked across private practice, Queensland Health (Child and Youth Mental Health Services), and schools. She has experience supporting young people, families, and adults. She provides both individual therapy and assessment for a variety of clinical presentations.

Lakshmi is passionate about fostering secure attachment and nurturing relationships, which form the core of her approach. Her interest in attachment and parenting informs her work with families and individuals alike.

In addition to her clinical work, Lakshmi is a board-approved supervisor, having completed the Supervisor Training and Assessment Program (STAP), and enjoys supervising other psychologists. She has also completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is working toward her endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
